Pooja Vidhi (Ritual Procedure)

    Confirm ancestor details, gotra, tithi and the authorized place/ghat with the priest.

    Bathe/cleanse as appropriate, wear clean clothes and take sankalp.
  • 3
    Offer tila-tarpan with kusha and water while the priest recites the prescribed names/mantras.
  • 4
    Prepare and offer pindas in the number and composition directed for the rite.

    Conclude with visarjan, dakshina, feeding/daan and respectful cleanup of the site.
