Ritual Details

Pooja Vidhi (Ritual Procedure)

    Confirm family eligibility, ancestor details and the authorized tirtha/venue.
  • 2
    Take sankalp after purification and perform Ganesh, Kalash, Gauri/Matrika and Navagraha worship as prescribed.
  • 3
    Offer tarpan and prepare the three pindas according to the selected Tripindi paddhati.
  • 4
    Perform the prescribed Tripindi offerings and prayers under the Acharya’s direction.
  • 5
    Complete visarjan, purnahuti where included, dakshina, daan and feeding/cow-feeding as prescribed.

  • Kusha, black sesame and water vessels
  • Three-pinda ingredients approved by the priest
  • Kalash, coconut, flowers, fruits and white cloth
  • Havan materials if included
